Chris the Builder

The plant that Chris works at had an open house last Saturday. It was a chance for all the employees and their families to walk through the plant and see where their family member works. To make it a bit more fun for the kids they had face painting and a few people in costumes the kids could have there picture taken with. Some how Chris was nominated to be Bob the Builder. He stood at the door greeting everyone, and taking pictures with some of the kids. I say some because due to his large plastic head and huge black eyes he ended up scaring most of the kids. As soon as they would see him they would get a death grip on a parent and move to the other side of the room. Some even started to cry. Two of them got so scared that Chris had to actually leave the room so they would walk by to start the tour. I think my favorite was the little boy that walked up to the door, saw Chris through the glass and ran off in the other direction. Fortunatly some kids did get excited and would run over and hug Chris and climb on his lap. It was pretty cute.
