Going For The Gold

When I was pregnant my Aunt warned me that "my brand of baby was going to come with a hose." So far that hose has soaked many things including the wall and Chris. However, last night Cordon pulled out all the stops. Chris was stripping him down for a bath and Cordon started to pee. The stream did a beautiful arch right onto Cordons face. Of course this surprised and scared him so he stopped peeing. That is a talent to brag about, "I can pee on my own face."

Snowboarding At Its Finest

Chris and I went snowboarding this weekend. There were only 4 runs open and you can see it was mostly mud. We still had tons of fun though. Especially since it was 70 degrees.

Cutest Baby Ever

I know I'm the mom so I'm biased but I think I have one cute kid.

How My Life Has Changed

Having Cordon really wasn't that big of a change for Chris and I. We adjusted really quickly to having a baby around. However, there have been some definite changes. Let me share....

Then:
If I wanted to go some place I had to bring
keys
wallet
Now:
If I want to go some place I have to bring:
keys
wallet
diapers
bottle
formula
car seat
toys
burp cloth
chest carrier
Cordon
etc etc

Then:
My hair was long and flowing past my shoulders.
Now:
How high can I get the bun where little fingers can't reach?

Then:
When I watched T.V it was the News, VH1 or some reality show.
Now:
"We just figured out Blues Clues, because were really smart"

Then:
I had a sweet fruity smell from lotions and shampoo.
Now:
Spit up a la Cordon.

Then:
My conversations consisted of politics, religion, and current events.
Now:
Throw up and diaper rashes.

Then:
I could sit quietly and listen to all the talks in church.
Now:
The pictures in the hall sure are lovely, oh look, a new announcement on the bulletin board I can memorize

Then:
Date night consisted of dinner, a movie, and going to bed around midnight.
Now
:
Rent a movie and fall asleep on the couch before opening credits are done.

Then:
I was upset if I got less then 7 hours of sleep at night
Now:
If I sleep more then 4 hours it's a miracle!

Then:
The house was filled with songs from Van Halen, Aerosmith and Nickleback
Now:
"Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh, tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff......"

6 Months and Counting

Cordon is 6 months. He just gets more and more fun everyday. I love how curious he is about everything. He has an attention span of about 2 seconds then he wants to learn about something new. I spend most of my day moving him to different places in the house with different toys. He is sitting and getting close to crawling. Cordon loves Bud and laughs and smiles every time Bud comes into view. Bud is doing so good with Cordon, he is very gentle with him. Bud has even learned to be quiet when Cordon is sleeping. The other day Cordon was in bed and Bud heard a noise outside. He barked then suddenly turned around and gave us a "sorry, I forgot" sort of look.
