Happy Birthday Cordon

Cordon has hit the 1 year mark. In some ways I can't believe he is already 1 and in other ways I cant believe he is only 1. I will admit that I have already had days when I wanted to sell him to the gypsies but he is so much fun and I'm so glad we finally got this little guy here. I love spending my days playing with him and watching him try to figure out the world around him. Although he looks like a mini Chris I have been seeing a lot of my personality come out in him. Mostly with how mad he gets when someone tries to help him with something. He is very independent and doesn't want help. As a child my main saying was "I can do it all mine byself". I am loving each stage his goes through but I am excited for him to start talking so I can see more of his personality.
The only sugar Cordon has had so far is a few bites of ice cream (which he didn't like) and a small piece of a donut. He hasn't shown much interest in sugar so we weren't sure how he would handle the cake. He started off having a marvelous time finger painting in the frosting then Chris showed him that this fun toy was actually eatable. He couldn't get the cake in his mouth fast enough. He ate half the thing in about 30 seconds then looked sick and wanted nothing else to do with it. After a hose down and nice long nap he opened his presents. Ok, really it was me trying to get him to sit still long enough so I could open them and convince him that something fun was inside.

That tractor has turned into a winner. He has been pushing it all over. Although after one day I am already wanting to toss it out the window. How many times can I hear "The Farmer In the Dale" before it drives me insane?

Finger painting

mmmmm

Being a stay at home mom with one child in a new city leaves me with to much free time. But I still enjoyed making this video.

We Love you little man. Happy Birthday!
