Budzilla Strikes Again

I walked out of my room the other day and saw Bud standing in the hallway looking very guilty. So I started the "what did Bud do now" search and I found a heat pack on the floor torn open. Blue goo was ALL over the white carpet. Surprisingly I got it all out, yahoo for Resolve. It's been three days and I'm still finding blue flecks on the walls and carpet. I still love that crazy mutt though.

I use to think that we just got a crazy dog and there isn't much we can do about that stuff he does..... well my dad came to town and pulled out his Dog Whispering moves and within a few hours he was the pack leader. I never saw Bud do anything wrong when my dad was around..... I guess the problem is us and not Bud.... time to watch more of Ceaser Milan. Although maybe he wouldn't be so crazy if we didn't do stuff like this to him....

Bud has adjusted really well to Cordon. He is already very protective of him. If Cordon sneezes or coughs Bud will run over to make sure everything is ok. If Cordon cries and I can't get to him immediately then Bud will run over and sit next to him until I come. It is really sweet.

Isn't funny how people prepare you for the dog hating the baby or in my case the toddler hating her new sibling? I think if you just prepare them they don't have any problems. Crystal is so protective of Seth it's crazy. Anytime he whines she'll run over to me and yell "Seth is crying mom! Save him save him!" The other thing I've noticed is that when she's having a meltdown over something he cries along with her. Whenever she cries, he cries, and whenever he cries, she demands he be rescued. I'm wondering when they'll start hitting each other like normal kids.

Glad you got all that blue out of the carpet! It's good that your dogs protective rather than being jealous. Hope everything else is going well. Cordon is really cute!
