Chris' work had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Actually, it was more of an Easter egg pick up. The eggs were just thrown onto the lawn. Which is perfect for Cordons age. We showed him the concept once, then our clean freak child took off. He LOVED putting all the eggs in the basket. Each child had a limit of ten eggs, but of course Cordon couldn't leave the field with eggs still laying around so we let him continue with putting eggs in the basket and when he wasn't looking we would throw the extra ones behind us for other kids to get.
Be sure to notice Cordons shoes. These Air Jordon's were a wedding gift to Chris. He is so obsessed with Jordon's that these have been on display in several of our homes. I was told on many occasions that these were ONLY for decoration. Well, one day out of the blue, Chris decided that Cordon needed to wear these coveted Air Jordon's. The fact that Chris let Cordon outside while wearing them is an occasion to celebrate.
Cordon was jealous of the grass in some of the kids baskets. This little boy was nice enough to share.
Easter Sunday was great. We got Cordon a small basket with a few toys and candy. Although, I think I ate most of the candy. We also got him a book on the resurrection. My favorite part of the day was when Cordon disappeared. We found him watching General Conference in our room.
And be sure to make fun of our high quality TV stand.
