Cordon and I just got back from a two week vacation out west. It was a blast but also very tiring. I knew it would be different traveling with a baby but I didn't' realize how much different it would be. I had more stuff for him then myself. Security was a joke. They checked EVERYTHING in the diaper bag. Cordon did great though. He loved all the attention he got on the plane from other passengers. We flew into Vegas and stayed with my brother, Jason, for a few days for his daughters blessing. He just bought a new home, so naturally he had a few home improvements ready to show off to the family.
If you have 25 ft ceilings then why wouldn't you put in a rock wall?
Here we have the 3 story play house. You have to crawl through a tunnel over the kitchen to get to it. The inside is fully carpeted and has ramps to get to the different levels. It has now been fully finished so it looks like part of the wall but with holes in it. The holes with the boards over it now have plexi glass and railing.
Next on the tour of Jason's Never Never Land is the rope. In the middle of the family room there is a huge rope. Normally there is a chair hooked to it but for entertainment purposes we hooked a mattress to it. It doesn't look like much but it felt like you were 30ft off the ground and going to fall off at any minute.
Of course Jason's play house would not be complete without his own bounce house.
And here is Jason at his finest.
After Vegas we headed to Overton where we spend a couple days with my sister then we headed to St. George and stayed with my parents. My mom and dad just started their 18 month mission in Nauvoo, IL so we went out for their farewell. I also finally got to see my brother -in -laws new restaurant. http://pirateislandpizza.com/ This place is so much fun. I ran around like a sugar induced kid looking at all the decor and popping tokens into different arcade games.
Cordon is all snuggled in Bugga's (Grandpa Myers) bed watching Celtic Women. He LOVED that DVD.
My parents will all 14 grandkids
Finally we ended our trip in Provo with Chris's parents. Before leaving St. George Cordon had an upper respiratory infection and by the time we got to Provo he had an ear infection so he got pretty sick the last few days but he still was happy and smiling most of the time.

It hurts my feelings that you have two pictures and three videos of staying at Jason's house, then my name didn't even get mentioned and you were off to St. George. What am I chopped LIVER?!? (or burnt steak? haha)
ok that's all, glad you got home safe

That house has Jason written all over it. How fun! Is it just me or is Cordon the spitting image of Chris?
Wow! What a house! It sounds like Jason is still as creative and funny as ever. It is cool that your parents are going on a mission. I didn't realize that they had that many grandkids. You have such a great family.
That is quite the house. How jealous you make me feel! :) Sorry Cordon got sick, it seems that every time I travel with the kids they get sick too...I'm convinced that it's all the germ swapping in airplanes.
It's so much fun to see the pictures of your family! Jason's house looks like Crazy fun!!
We hope to visit your parents sometime since they're only 3 hours from us!
